"It is what it is"

In class today, my teacher was talking about the “Chaos Theory”, which basically states that all events that occur in life are totally random and cannot be controlled. For example, we have experienced “weather” every day for thousands of years yet still to this day, we cannot predict it. We never know when it rain or when it will snow, therefore proving that every event in life is absolutely random and uncontrollable. Another example is driving. We, as humans create rules and regulations for the road in order to prevent accidents from occurring yet they still happen, which only proves the “Chaos Theory”. In every aspect of life, we try to maintain order but eventually these “random events” disassemble our humanly plans and create chaos.

This got me thinking; “Does that mean our sole purpose for living is a mere coincidence?” or “What if these so called “random events” are actually planned?” Maybe there is a plan behind all of this and we are too minuscule to understand it. Just because we are the superiors on this planet, doesn’t necessarily mean that we are the superiors of the entire universe. Sometimes, we have to realize that there are things greater than us.

Please don’t take this the wrong way. I’m not saying that we should rid of all our rules because then there would be complete chaos but maybe, we should acknowledge that there is an underlying plan behind each event and we are just too incapable to understand it. After all, it is what it is.

Love All,

GhanDEEP

God is sovereign in all things, even crows do not fall to the ground unless God ordains it. What seems like "chance" is still determined by God.
Matthew 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
Matthew 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Psalms 37:28 For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
Proverbs 16:9 A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.
Chaos Theory presupposes no God therefore so called "random events" occur. But nothing is random and all is ordained and planned for the glory of God.
